Retro chic is alive and well in Scottsdale—at least at the Hotel Valley Ho, the reincarnated mid-century landmark hotel and residence in Downtown Scottsdale. The seven-story Residential Tower features 37 units, from classy condos to exclusive penthouses, all reminiscent of a throwback era. For a true retro feel, go with the funky furnished version designed by Cathy Hayes. And with the legendary address come plenty of perks, including valet parking, a full-time concierge, access to the always happening Oh pool and use of the VH Spa facilities. And then there’s the rental program. While you’re jetting off to yet another tropical island, the hotel will help you rent out your pad. According to General Manager Andrew Chippindall, the program gives you the best of both worlds. “You can live the hotel lifestyle, and when not in residence, you can have the unit producing revenue for you,” he explains.
The only hitch? Penthouses are not included.
Bonus: Need a massage? Residents get one complimentary spa treatment a year.
